Carriage House

A beautiful home located (area maps) on the south side of Madeline Island. It has a private beach & dock. This lovely retreat was designed with your privacy in mind. It is set apart from the main house by a large deck & privacy wing wall.

Bring your beach towels down to the dock & sandy beach for an afternoon in the sun. At night, have a bonfire under the stars or take a nature hike down the long private road through our 8 acres of woods.

The Carriage House features 2 bedrooms and 2 full bathrooms. One bedroom (see pic below) has a king size bed and the other (see pic below) has two twin beds. The living room (see pic below) and dining room are bright and airy with vaulted ceilings. Additional features include: a loft, wood burning fireplace, sliding glass doors, old rare books, stereo, TV and VCR. The furnishings are antique and family heirlooms. The kitchen (see pic below) is fully equipped with a dishwasher, microwave and all necessary cooking items. Treasure House

A charming turn-of-the-century country home in the small town of LaPointe on Madeline Island.

The home is set back off the street for privacy and across the street from Lake Superior. You can enjoy a walk to the public beach, the stores, museum, marina & the ferry dock landing.

The Treasure House is a comfortable and quaint 2 bedroom (see pic below), one bathroom home. Bedrooms are small & cozy, divided by a wall and curtain. One has a Queen size bed, the other has 2 twin beds, all with oversized fluffy comforters.

The living room (see pic below) has a TV and VCR, old rare books (our family collection) and a wood burning fireplace. The country kitchen (see pic below) is fully equipped including a microwave, stove, freezer, refrigerator and all cooking utensils.
