Jacqueline was an amazing hostess. She met us near her home and gave us the grand tour of her beautiful home. There is an amazing pool that over looks the valley and out towards St.Croix, a hot tub down stairs that boasts the same view. The linens and towels were clean and the bed was very comfortable. She has a smart TV in the room and we were able to watch TV when we weren’t out exploring. There was a refrigerator, shower, sink, iron and ironing board, and bug spray and sun screen available. We will absolutely be back for the beautiful views, nice breeze and great hostess.

GET OUT OF THE BUBBLE! This is a great way to experience the Caribbean. The location is quiet and off the beaten path, but still close to town and beaches. Jacqueline knows all of the best kept secrets of the island and is a wonderful hostess.

The location was gorgeous as it overlooked Great Cruz Bay, St Thomas and the beautiful Caribbean Ocean. The rental was clean and secure and provided us with all the amenities we needed. The owner was wonderful, very accommodating and made us feel like part of the family. We had a great time and definitely would go back to St. John's and stay at this vacation rental again.

This was our second stay at this property, and it did not disappoint. In 2014, we enjoyed a wonderful stay at the adjacent Tropical Garden. This time, we enjoyed staying in White Seagull. It is a true St. John treasure - a beautiful, well-maintained villa. It is perfect for a couple, with enough space to be comfortable yet still maintain a cozy mountaintop villa feel.

Douglas B. I found Jacque's place on Home Away and it was just the perfect spot. It is close enough to town to be convenient, but not so close that you were in it. Had a great view of the harbor, the accommodations are perfect for a couple, and the Jacuzzi was the icing on the cake. She was very helpful but left us to our own to enjoy. I would highly recommend this rental and will be back!

My husband and I have stayed in the Tropical Orchids for 2 wks for 18 years now. Very quiet, private and a fabulous view. Jacqueline is a gracious host. In the tropics fresh water is a very precious resource and we respect that. We always look forward to our winter get away. We love everything unique about St. John. 
Deb M. Jacqueline cares about her guests and she goes above and beyond to make everyone comfortable. The Villa is very nice and the pool is fantastic. We loved the nice breeze and beautiful views. We didn't need the air conditioner with the three door walls open. The sun does wake you up early but we loved that. The pictures are accurate and the vibe at this place is so pleasant. We were not disappointed in any way and we hope to return. We had dinner on the roof lounge and the view was breathtaking.

Is the right place if you need a vacation to disconnect from the stress, noise and movement of big cities and hard work, in this paradise you will find a place to rest not only physically but also psychologically, it is very quiet, remote and silent, beautiful view to the east of the island, with a blue sea that makes you fall in love, the breeze that caresses you from the balcony and surrounded by nature with iguanas as neighbors and birds and abundant vegetation I recommend it.

The property is better than represented! The view is one of the best, the pool is perfect and the sun deck can't be beat. Jacqueline is a gracious hostess and assures that you have everything you might need. The kitchenette is small but functional, beach chairs and towels are provided and the breeze thru the unit eliminated any need for A/C. St. John is back up on its' feet and visitors are greeted warmly by all. This was our 4th visit to STJ and we will return....we look forward to seeing Jacqueline again. So many beaches so little time!

Can't say enough good things about our stay here. The location and easy access to Cruz Bay along with the best views on St John are just a couple of reasons while we will be back. But maybe the best part of our experience was having Jacqueline as our host! She was quick to help out any way she could, including sharing her favorite spots on the island that we might not have heard about in travel brochures. The villa was stocked with everything we needed for a week long stay, including a cooler and beach chairs! Don't bother searching for another villa, it doesn't get better than this one.

My wife and I just stayed here for eight days. 'Just for 2' has all anyone could ask for when staying on St John: awesome view of Great Cruz Bay, comfortable Caribbean furnishings, complete kitchen, incredible & beautiful landscaping, attentive landlord, convenient location to Centerline and Southside Road and more. MM My husband and I stayed at Tropical Orchid for 7 days in March 2014. The villa is wonderful. Gorgeous views of Great Cruz Bay, Chocolate Hole. We could see St Croix on clear days and the sunrises and sunsets were amazing. The villa had everything needed to make our stay comfortable - full kitchen, a hot tub, nice outdoor porch and off street parking. Short drive to town of Cruz Bay. We felt very safe. I can't say enough good things about St John. The people are friendly and fun and the island is beautiful! Jacqueline was a wonderful host. Can't wait to return.
